The Pilot Butte ranch is located in Modoc County. It is approximately 888 acres in size. There are approximately 278 acres planted in alfalfa. The alfalfa fields have been lazer leveled for ease of irrigation. Four good wells provide the water for the irrigation system.

The Ranch borders the 13,000 acre Ash Creek Wildlife Refuge. A 570 acre wetland easement will protect the habitat for waterfowl. This ranch provides a great opportunity to own a working ranch while enjoying the fantastic wildlife resource at the same time.
