ACCESS
Access to
the Hunter Ranch is via the Maple Creek Road, a county road that extends
approximately 2 1/2 miles into the ranch and provides access to that
portion of the property north of the Mad River. The second access is
via State Highway 299 then south on forest Service Highway 1.
PROPERTY
DESCRIPTION
The ranch is approximately 16,180 acres +/-. It's beauty
is unique and expansive. There is a variety of terrain ranging from
flat woodland meadows to stunning river and creek valleys. There is
approximately 4,890 acres of conifer-dominated forests, approximately
7,860 acres of hardwood dominated forests and approximately 3,430 acres
of
non-forested areas (mostly grasslands). The Mad River borders and runs
through a major portion of the ranch and there are numerous year-around
creeks on the ranch that feed the Mad River. The ranch is bordered by
the Six Rivers National Forest to the north Providing added privacy.
