Jim attended Humboldt State University, graduating with a degree in Range Management. Jim began his real estate career in 1978. He has served as president of the Humboldt County Board of Realtors and on various committees at the State level.

Being a private pilot since 1970 with flying experience throughout the US, Alaska and Mexico. Owning two planes, a Beech Baron and a Cherokee Six, give Jim a great advantage in handling ranches and rural properties throughout California and Oregon. Both planes are used to transport clients to ranches and for aerial viewing of ranches.

Jim is also a Broker-Owner of Four Star Realty and has been active in Real Estate and Ranch sales for over 23 years.
